Radiant Space presents an evening of experimental percussion and dance performances curated by Emanation’s founder Tom Benko. Emanation is a music series centered around eclectic chamber music, which happens bi-monthly at various DIY spaces in Chicago. The evening will feature musical sets by Amanda Duncan, Kristen Klehr, Tom Benko, Jeremiah Chiu and a live dance performance by Micah Moch.
Doors at 8pm, show at 8:30pm.
Street Parking Available but Uber and lyft is recommended. There is a paid parking lot entrance off of Gardner.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Tom Benko
Tom Benko is a Chicagoland percussionist, educator and composer. Tom is the Director of Percussion at Maine South High School teaching the Percussion Methods and Drumline classes as well as all private lessons. Tom also performs as one of the kit players with Blue Man Group Chicago, a muli-instrumentalist for folk singer Kevin Presbrey, performs with the Chicago Bulls Stampede, and just released a full length with his band, Minor Characters. Tom endorses Innovative Percussion, Sabian Cymbals and Etymotic.
Amanda Duncan
Amanda is a multi-faceted percussionist from the Los Angeles area. She performs music ranging from orchestral and jazz to pop and world genres, and has shared the stage with many world-class musicians, including Michael Giacchino, Stephen Perkins, Andy Narell, Liam Teague, Ray Holman, eighth blackbird, Billy Sheehan, Victor Provost, Martin Chalifour, Christopher Washburne and SYOTOS, New Music Chicago, and Matthew Tembo.

Kristen Klehr
Los Angeles-based percussionist Kristen Klehr tours with Scrap Arts Music, is on faculty for Malletlab, and enjoys a multifaceted path within the music industry. She is the owner and founder of
Produced by BEAR, an innovative concert design and production company, and is passionate about presenting immersive arts experiences. Kristen is also a fitness professional for Equinox and proudly wears RYU Apparel. In her spare time you will not find her in the kitchen because she can’t stand cooking – but she does love collaborating with singer/songwriters for marimba-voice projects and is endorsed by Dream Cymbals.

Jeremiah Chiu
Jeremiah Chiu is a Los Angeles based artist and musician recording and performing under several aliases: Some All None, Cosmic Son, Pair, Way Silent and Jeremiah Chiu. Jeremiah has played in numerous groups including LA Takedown, Axis Sova, Chandeliers, Icy Demons, Nedelle Torrisi, and (SAME) w/ Butchy Fuego. Jeremiah’s recent works have been exhibited and commissioned by Marz Gallery, High Desert Test Sites, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Human Resources Los Angeles, and the Getty Center Los Angeles.
