What happens when life throws you into chaos? These paintings are all depictions of entropy and the flux in which all things exist. Are things disintegrating or are they coming together?

Negahban’s main goal has remained consistent throughout all periods of his artistic life: to effectively translate those sensations that are beyond the purview of our literal and prefrontal minds. Negahban spent three months isolated creating this new body of work exclusively for Radiant Space. From the daunting moments of a room full of empty canvases, Negahban has created an impressive array of new work depicting scenes, figures, and still lifes in states of order, chaos, and everything in between.

In making this series, Negahban unwittingly examined the natural concept of entropy as a way to process and understand the disintegration of his relationship with his long-term romantic partner and muse.
