A note from Emily on the performance:

* A coming of age story turned on its head. A series of monologues/slam poetry- I dance around and through the truth of growing up. I become all the people I’ve been in order to please society. You see as my society changed, I changed…. Through heartbreak and disappointments and talent and drive and depression, I mold a show that is somewhat beautiful in it’s disfunction and hope and all the other things that life actually is. Women power, truth power, power of vulnerability, inhabiting one’s body, comedy and spirituality are some major themes. *
